Your stay, clearly explained
Terms and conditions
Straightforward website and booking information. Your statutory consumer rights remain protected.
Effective
The business and this website
This website presents Nicotel Apartments, 8C Tunde Ogbeha Street, Gudu, Abuja, Nigeria. For booking questions, complaints or an accessible alternative, telephone +234 908 744 0059 or contact the same number on WhatsApp. You may also write to the property address.
Browsing does not create a reservation, authorise payment or waive a consumer right. Accommodation contracts arise through the agreed booking process, not merely by visiting a page. Before payment, obtain the supplier’s full or registered business name, an itemised total and written booking terms.
Availability, prices and confirmation
Rates are displayed in Nigerian naira per night, with their verification date. Security deposits are listed separately for each category. Dates and individual room availability must be confirmed by Nicotel reception. A category photograph is not a promise of a particular physical room; confirm any essential feature before booking.
The current reservation requirement is at least 50% of the room rate, with full payment before check-in. Ask the team to confirm the amount for your full stay, any applicable tax or other charge, the deposit and cancellation terms in writing before paying. Do not pay an additional amount that has not been explained and agreed. These terms do not authorise a charge above a displayed price contrary to consumer law.
Verify payment instructions using Nicotel’s published telephone number. Online payment opens Paystack’s hosted checkout; this website does not collect bank-card details. A temporary hold or a request awaiting reception is not a paid booking. Keep your confirmation and itemised receipt. A displayed error must be explained and resolved lawfully; it is not permission to change an agreed booking unilaterally.
Arrival and your stay
Check-in begins at 2:00 pm and checkout is at 12:00 noon, Abuja time. Early arrival and late checkout depend on availability and may incur the charges on the Stay information page. Agree an extension before relying on it.
Use the accommodation lawfully, respect other guests and follow reasonable safety instructions provided by the property. Confirm guest numbers and essential access requirements before payment. This website does not promise that every room or part of the building is step-free or suitable for every access requirement.
Changes, cancellations and deposits are covered by the Refund and cancellation policy. Material conditions must be disclosed before booking; a later website update does not automatically replace the terms of an existing reservation.
Website use, images and external links
Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with its operation. Ordinary browsing, assistive technology and legitimate reporting of problems are welcome.
Photographs, branding, text and other materials may be protected by rights belonging to their respective owners. Viewing this site does not grant permission for commercial reuse. Ask before reusing material, except where the law permits it. To raise an ownership concern, identify the material and your rights using the contact details above; do not provide sensitive documents publicly.
Paystack, WhatsApp and Instagram links open services with their own terms and privacy notices. Nicotel remains responsible for its own legal obligations; the presence of a third party is not a disclaimer of those obligations. External services are not independently certified by this website.
Complaints and legal rights
If something is wrong, contact Nicotel with your booking reference, a short explanation and the resolution you seek. Avoid unnecessary personal or payment information. Keep a copy of the conversation and receipt.
Nigerian law applies, subject to any mandatory rights that also apply to you. Nothing here excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, imposes compulsory arbitration, or prevents you from approaching the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or a competent court. If a term is unlawful, the law takes precedence.
